Local cities hosting a Menorah lighting, in honor of the first day of Hanukkah

ASHLAND --        Today the Chabad Jewish Center of Southern Oregon will be hosting its annual Menorah lighting in downtown Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass.With today being the first night of Hanukkah, the lighting will proudly be displayed with its universal message of light over darkness, goodness over evil, and love over hate.The Ashland Menorah lighting will take place twice on the Plaza in Downtown Ashland, on the first night of Hanukkah, Sunday, December 18 at 4:00 pm with Mayor Julie Akins.
